Don't Let the Hurricane Spoil Your BBQ Plans

Had a BBQ Planned for this weekend?   Don't let the rain stop the fun.   Host a rainy day BBQ!

One of my all time favorite memories was our longest day of the year BBQ, which was rained out in 2008, so we made the best of it by hosting an indoor BBQ instead.

If the rain is spoiling your weekend, have an indoor BBQ.  Invite some of your friends over to help you make food, then serve traditional BBQ fair inside.   Add some frozen drinks for a great time.

Then Scrap Book It...

After you have your Rainy Day BBQ be sure to capture it in your scrap book.

To make this page I used a full sheet of the rain drop paper and I cut the middle out of it out, this way it had perfect edges but I was able to use the scraps from the middle of the page to do more work on the page.   Then I cut about an inch off all four sides of the checkerboard paper using my paper cutter to insure perfect edges.  I cut bubble letters out of the rain drop paper and pasted them to the blue paper to form the writing.  I also used the rain drop paper as backgrounds for my photos.  Then I cut out some of the photos collage style.  To embellish the page I bought a rain kit and a BBQ kit and combined them.
