Summer Page

In 2001 I took my first trip to the NJ Shore to see Jason, his family and his shore house.

To highlight my trip in the Jason/Michelle scrap book I used a beach paper set.   Available in both large and small books, this paper is from the book DCWV The Summer Glitter Stack, which is available at most craft stores.   In addition I bought stickers designed to go with the paper.    But I did not use a single sheet of the paper as a background.  Instead I took solid yellow paper and then I cut strips from the beach paper which I layered on top of the yellow solid, giving it more dynamics.   Then I added the picture and embellished with the stickers.

This is a fun summer page that took only about 10-15 minutes to do once I decided on a design.
