Bunnies by the Bay

For a cute and creative company that provides beautiful products for babies, I recommend Bunnies on the Bay.

With all my friends currently having babies I feel like I am constantly purchasing baby gifts.  It's easy to go off the registry and purchase stuff at stores like Buy Buy Baby and Babies R Us.   But I like to do something different.   When in Florida many years ago I found the cutest blanket at a baby store and bought it for my husband's friend who had a recently had a son.   Since then I may have become their best customer.  Bunnies by the Bay has some of the cutest things I have ever seen for babies.

The story of Bunnies by the Bay is an amazing one.  It was started as therapy for two sisters who lost several family members in a tragic commercial fishing accident.  They took their creativity and turned it into an amazing business.  Their products are sold in many small stores, and can now be found in some larger stores like FAO.   

My favorite thing from Bunnies by the Bay are the security blankets, featuring such cute characters as Bao Bao Bear, Tadbit the Frog, Emmit the Duck, and my personal favorite for little boys (and the one my obsession started with) Skipit, the sailor dog.
