So as I said this blog isn't just about things I have done but about the talents of others and all things crafty. Which is why I wanted to take the time to brag about my friend Deirdre. Deirdre is an accountant and has a very busy schedule, but she still has the time to make very beautiful cakes and cookies. Someday she would like to make this a career but for now it has to remain a hobby because she has to support herself with her full time job. She does, however, sell cakes from time to time. If she ever makes her own website or blog I will link it here. In the meantime if your interested in contacting her let me know.
Of course her stuff is going to make my future posts look bad.

Christy had a 30/60 Party for her & her mom's birthdays. Deirdre made the cake:
The bottom layer of this cake was black forest and it was GOOD!! I think the top layer was vanilla with chocolate filling, but I ate from the bottom layer, so not 100% sure.
For my Bachelorette Party she made this cake. This was one of my favorite cakes from her collection. It is classic & beautiful:
