We finished the house off with the usual snow topped roof and icicles. But with such a large roof we decided to do something to dress it up. We often add the sleighs to the boards, but this time we could put it right on the center of the roof. We used Lindt chocolate reindeers and a molded chocolate sleigh filled with gifts. We used the Lindt Santa at the front door instead of the usual Santa candies we use, because the Lindt one is more proportional to the mansion. Then we dressed up the board with a Royal Icing Christmas Tree (made on an ice cream cone.)
If your trying a chocolate house for the first time, I recommend starting with the basic one.
