National Scrap Booking Month

According to Michaels its National Scrap Booking Month.  So in honor of that I thought I would share some of my favorite places to get supplies.

Of course there is the usual... Michaels, Joannes, AC Moore.  They all have great stuff, so shop around them all.  But I think Joannes has the most hidden treasures as far as scrap book supplies go.

Scrapbook.com is a great place to find supplies as well as inspiration.   I buy a lot of my flowers and die cuts from this website.   Scrapbook.com: Supplies and Scrapbooking Ideas

Stationary stores are another great place to find unusual items.  I am talking about those small old town stationary stores.  One example is Ideal Stationary in Sag Harbor.  These stores are great because you never know what you might find.

My favorite place to get great scrap book materials is google.   Yes google.  I google images and find cartoons, graphics, fonts, etc.  Print them out, trace them onto acid free colored paper and voila, you have beautiful scrap book pages.
